An excellent A Level English Literature resource - I bought this book to help me study for A level English Lit - it contains a great selection of poems for unit 6, together with interesting contextual notes. I would certainly recommend it for anyone else doing A level.

Fantastic book - I cannot recommend this book enough, I personally think it s the BEST that I ve found about World War One poetry. It guides you through different stages of emotions through the war, with separate poet sections with their poems in chronological order so you can see the progression in their works. It also has quite a few war images, including a great pacifist propaganda cartoon! I m currently studying A Level English Literature & my teacher has actually used this book for reference. What else can I say, I think it s fantastic and is going to help my studies so much, so buy it!
